What a whirlwind it’s been! Cool Britannia just wrapped up some smashing shows in the Sunshine State, Down Under, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of legendary. First stop was: Miami Marketta, where the sun was shining brighter than our Union Jack, and our entire set was basically an homage to Britain’s greatest 90s hits. We had the incredible Symphony Orchestra Quartet riding shotgun with us — yes, four professionals, about to make our guitars sound more classy than a Queen's speech!

That’s right, we traded in the usual mosh pit for a bit of proper orchestral grandeur. And if that wasn’t enough, ‘Every Step You Take’ (a perfect tribute to The Police, of course) supported us. They really nailed the atmosphere — a mix of nostalgia and ‘wow, these guys still sound like they’re stalking us from a london street corner.’
Then it was off to Brisbane, to The Triffid — no, not a giant plant, but definitely a colossal gig. The crowd was loud, the rain was tropical, and the orchestra? Still killing it. We’re pretty sure the quartet has now officially earned their stripes as honorary British expats, even if they don't know what a “cuppa” means.
Looking ahead, we’re heading to Melbourne’s Prince of Wales in St. Kilda, on Friday 6th June, and we’re bringing the noise again. The setting will be even more eclectic, with our trusty mates ‘Setting Sons’ (tribute to The Jam!) supporting us — a band who really know how to do London’s pub rock justice. And guess what? On the same night, the legendary SUPERGRASS will be serenading Melbourne, just a few streets away. We’re pretty sure if you’re in town, you'll be able to catch us playing our cover of “Alright”.
And for those of you who love rugby, sports, or just good old-fashioned chaos—apparently the British and Irish Lions are taking over Canberra that very same evening. Maybe it’s the universe’s way of saying ‘pick your battles,’ or ‘dance your hearts out and then cheer for rugby — who can say?’
Stay tuned, mates — there are more adventures on the horizon, we're playing on a big shiny boat on Sydney Harbour on July 19th! So trust us, we’re just getting started. Keep your ears peeled, your drinks strong, and your British accents ready. Cheerio!
